My background spans both sides of the evaluation process – from writing winning grant proposals as a researcher and co-PI to conducting thorough evaluations that drive real project improvements. This dual perspective, combined with 11 years of secondary science and mathematics teaching and 9 years of higher education experience, gives me a unique understanding of what works in educational settings and how to measure it effectively.

From classroom to research lab, I’ve worked across educational contexts that matter. My 11 years of secondary teaching in science and mathematics, combined with 9 years in higher education, provide deep insight into how learning actually happens and what interventions make a difference.

My work with government and private grants – both writing them and evaluating them – means I understand what funders want to see and how to deliver evidence that moves projects forward.
